Please read these terms before using Tagit. They describe the rules that apply when you shop or sell through the marketplace.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Tagit, you agree to these terms. They apply to buyers and sellers using the platform. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
2. Use of the Platform
Tagit is an e-commerce marketplace connecting buyers and sellers. You agree to provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, use the platform lawfully, and not manipulate prices, reviews, or other platform features. Fraud, impersonation, and other misuse may result in account suspension or termination.
3. Orders and Payments
An order is a transaction between you and the seller supplying the item. Prices, delivery charges, and any applicable fees are shown during checkout. Payments are processed by Paystack; Tagit does not store payment card details. Orders are confirmed after successful payment authorization. Tagit may assist with disputes but is not a party to the buyer-seller contract.
4. Delivery and Shipping
Sellers set delivery timelines and shipping fees, which are shown during checkout. Buyers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. Contact the seller or Tagit support if an order is delayed or does not arrive.
5. Returns and Refunds
Return and refund eligibility is subject to the seller's stated policy and applicable law. Contact the seller or Tagit support promptly if an item is faulty, damaged, or materially different from its description. Any approved refund is handled according to the payment provider's processing timelines.
6. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers must have the right to sell listed products, provide accurate descriptions and prices, fulfill orders in good faith, and comply with applicable laws. Counterfeit, prohibited, and illegal items are not allowed. Violations may result in listing removal or account suspension.
7. Intellectual Property
Tagit and its licensors own the platform's software, branding, and design. Sellers retain ownership of content they upload and grant Tagit permission to display that content in connection with operating and promoting the marketplace.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Tagit is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for acts or omissions of sellers, delivery providers, or other third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability where applicable law does not permit that limitation.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes that cannot be resolved through support are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
